for 62 degrees in petaluma and 64 in santa rosa, and moving to sonoma and napa, 64 and 65 respectively. in the east bay, 63 degrees in berkeley and warmer in castro valley at 64 degrees and we will see the highest temperatures at 67 in livermore and 65 in fairfield. overnight, experience increasing cloud cover and chilly temperatures in the north bay at 42 in napa and inland 46 in antioch. warmer today with a chance of increasing clouds tonight and moisture coming into the bay area for the next couple of days before we start to cool down by thursday and the temperatures will start to ramp up friday into next weekend. the roads show a problem with a crash in daly city that started off as austral and this is northbound which now has cleared. as you maybe the drive toward san francisco all moving along at top speed. dry five traffic 580 from tracy to dublin is 27 minutes and highway 4 from antioch to concord is 15 minutes and 101 southbound from san rafael to san francisco 17 minutes but watch out for the fog if you are headed over the golden gate bridge, when you pass the tunnel it is th

miles per hour. concord, a light breeze. napa pa reporting 13 and calm in oakland. the breezier weather will come tomorrow but for today, temperatures beginning to run cooler from 3 to 6 degrees and 57 in napa, 62 san francisco, upper 50s half moon bay, 57 right now heyward, upper 50s outside our door in oakland, giving you a look here. we will continue to see high clouds sweep through and i will back this up a little bit to show you the system here that is beginning to drop in so here it is, dropping out of canada, so a very cold system. because of its path, it's moisture-starved, although i'm seeing a little rain over crescent city, northern california picking up scattered showers here. the see area is expected to pick up some snow, snow levels down to 3,000 feet at some point, but for us at home, maybe a stray shower, cold, cold weather on the way and i will pick it up for you. here's the rain up north. the front will sweep through tonight into tomorrow morning and am stopping it around 8:00 because i want to show you a few sprinkles popping up. you don't see a whole lot, but we hav

around napa. below average temperatures today. we will look for the freeze warning again tonight except for san francisco. so the current satellite picture shows this trough persistent jet stream well to the south of us, all the way down into baja, california. then the system off jr. will reinforce the cold air, bring dryer air, the clear sky and another frigid night tonight. here's a look at half dome. look at the snow. isn't this beautiful? a couple overnight lows in the next few days. 30s around the bay. inland low 30s. monday into tuesday, perhaps another freeze warning. then it looks like we are out of the woods by wednesday. but in terms of high temperatures today, southern california making it up to about 60. 48 in sacramento. 29 in tahoe. minus 13 this morning. afternoon highs 50 oakland, 48 fairfield as well as morgue again hill and headed to candlestick. northeast wind. not as windy as it could be there. the spare the air today. the freeze warning tonight. likely monday night. then we are sunny, milder midweek and near 60 with very little chance of rain on friday and saturday

will see by wednesday morning take a look. napa 37 out the door. 45 degrees in redwood city. here's why it's going to get so cold. we have a lot of cool air filtering out of the bay area. satellite and radar shows this cold from bring in some light rain to the pacific northwest. although we could see a few raindrops. wins will pick up into the afternoon. i think the bigger story is just how cold temperatures are going to get to. we will be below freezing and the mid to upper 20s for possibly three to four consecutive days. the sec a look at futurecast 4. perhaps some moraines snow showers for the sierra nevada really not too much for the bay area. afternoon highs for today will probably be the last day of mild temperatures with oakland at 67. 65 degrees or higher encountered a looks like mid to upper 60s for those of you in the south bay. in 7 day around the bay forecast of early-warning you that really chilly temperatures are on the way. severely cold mornings. highs and land will be in the mid 40's. it really looks like we will continue with this pattern even heading into the weekend. 61

will reach 65 degrees in napa and 67 in livermore. overnight, though, increasing clouds, and chilly conditions and, also, increasing fog along the coast which will subside temperature, as well, and that is going to bring temperatures down to the upper 40's along the peninsula and 39 in santa rosa, so, freezing temperatures and a freeze watch is most likely going to be issued later today for the next 48 hours. the increasing chances of showers will come tomorrow but mostly the cold weather will stay with us through much of the weekend bringing temperatures down to 50 degrees inland and 52 degrees around the bay and 52 degrees along the coast. as far as traffic, we have a fog advisory across the bay bridge so watch owe for that and drive carefully if you headed out there. highway 4 has a slowing through antioch and continue miles per hour is the top speed and it loosens up as you head into pittsburgh and 42 miles per hour making the drive to bay point into concord. mass transit and everything is run on time and bart, muni and caltrain, no problems, no delays it will be a great drive a
